Reporting Relationship:

The Marketing & Partnership Director will report to the Executive Director and work in close collaboration with the Director of Programming and the Client Services Coordinator.

The Position:

The Marketing & Partnership Director is a multi-faceted newly created position which will play a pivotal role in expanding the reach and impact of the organization. The Director’s primary objective is to drive the acquisition of new clients (individuals in transition) through incorporating a mix of existing strategy and fresh thinking. He/she will also spearhead the expansion of existing and new CTC partnerships inclusive of vendors, organizations/companies that use or could use CTC services to assist their displaced or to-be-displaced employees, and community organizations/agencies.

The Director will be an externally focused and out-going networker. He/she will be a resourceful team of one and an have uncanny ability to connect often-disparate points to create, ideate and execute initiatives that build followership and drive sustainable program expansion and great client outcomes.

Responsibilities Overview:

      • Personally manage all external partners.
      • Assess all current partnerships and create action plans for each.
      • Create and own a well-rounded marketing calendar.
      • Set and refine a marketing/media mix, including digital.
      • Create and execute a comprehensive partner strategy.
      • Plan and execute all media and outreach.
      • Craft and implement social media content and strategies.
      • Develop and execute annual marketing, communication and partnership plans to support organization goals.
      • Provide timely results and recommendations to shift marketing/media plan and budget based on performance
      • Lead resource gathering, content creation and development of marketing materials.
      • Develop and work to a set of brand guidelines.
      • Ownership of all paid media accounts.
      • Create and execute a structured and data-informed program to share and amplify CTC news/activities.
      • Optimize and continually refine tracking/analytics.
      • Assure all marketing and partnership initiatives are compliant with internal and external guidelines.


      • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Non-Profit Management, or equivalent experience.
      • Established track-record of delivering quantifiable business outcomes via his/her marketing and partnership work; able to provide concrete support for his/her accomplishments.
      • Proven skills at creating media opportunities; his/her personal network must include decision-makers in relevant media outlets.
      • Proven ability to create, secure buy-in for, and execute a well-rounded media campaign.
      • Proven business planning skills.
      • History of devising and executing conversion focused campaigns with proven returns; execution of paid social media campaigns.
      • Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts, strategies, and execution best practices.
      • A roll-up-the-sleeves mindset devoid of the “it’s not my job” mindset.
      • Strong project management skills; proven ability to manage and effectively execute in a fast-paced environment full of competing priorities.
      • Strong communication skills – able to communicate with relevance and impact to those at all levels and from all walks-of-life.
      • A mindset of Continuous Improvement supported by examples.
      • Proficiency with a major CRM platform.
      • Proficiency with Google Ads & Business.
