Discovering Your Path to Meaningful Work

Knowing yourself and being able to articulate your values and brand to others is a critical step toward job search success. Through insightful, interactive activities participants will ‘peel back the layers’ and discover what’s most important to them for their next role. The workshop facilitator will guide participants through the process of developing ‘guiding principles for my next job’ which they can share with their coach, peers, and network to help ensure a path to meaningful work
Participants will leave with tools to help clarify what they seek in their next career transition, whether they are simply seeking a new job or want to pivot role or industrty, as well as make significant life changes.
Speaker Bio: Nadia Whiteside
Nadia works with a wide range of clients, from high school grads through late career professionals to identify and articulate their unique strengths and present a compelling story that will set them apart from other professionals.
Nadia brings twenty years of experience in career services to her work, having served as the Program and Coaching Director for Career Transitions Center from 2015-2019, as well as various positions within higher education and community-based nonprofits since the late1990s.
Nadia holds an MA from DePaul University and the Certified Master of Career Services (CMCS) credential through the National Career Development Association, of which she is a member.
