Program Description:

Self -Leadership is a process by which one develops a keen sense of themselves, taking ownership of what they do and being intentional about where they want to go in life and work. And it can be a critical factor in successful career planning and transition.

This lunchtime workshop will provide an examination of the four pillars of self- leadership. Participants will engage in interactive exercises with peers and develop actionable insights as part of this thoughtful discussion.

The Presenter:

As a Holistic Leadership Coach, Kate partners with diverse mission-focused leaders, teams, groups, and organizations on their professional and personal journeys to thriving.

With an emphasis on the whole person, she helps professionals lead with greater wellbeing, clarity, and empowerment. As a group coach, Kate provides safe and courageous spaces for leaders to turn within and grow alongside one another. In addition to individual and group coaching, Kate presents engaging and motivational workshops and facilitation for mission-driven organizations. Kate is a former CTC client and served as a coach from 2017-2021.

Kate holds a Bachelor of Science and is an AmeriCorps alumnus. She is a Certified Professional Coach with the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching and a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation. She also serves as a Lake County Court Appointed Special Advocate for foster children. Recently, Kate has published numerous articles on work-life balance, empowerment and battling perfectionism. She recently recorded a meditation for the Insight Timer App and was a guest on The Flourish Careers Podcast.
