    Purposeful Retirement Workshop Series 

    for Late-Career Professionals

    This workshop series will be held every Tuesday from 4:00-5:00pm

    April 23- May 21, 2024.

    Description:

    Did you defer your dreams years ago for a different career path?

    It's not too late to make your dreams a reality!

    Through insights and discussion, participants can embrace their new reality and gain a greater sense of enthusiasm and empowerment in planning for transitioning into this new stage of life and career.

    This five-session series will provide participants comprehensive self-assessment reflections, individual retirement coaching and a Purposeful Retirement Work Plan to be reviewed and completed by the final session.

    Week 3:  Guest Speakers’ Panel Share Their Purposeful Retirement Stories

    Week 4: Planning for My Journey: Work Plan Progress and Establishing an Accountability Partner

    Week 5: What's Next? Finish Purposeful Retirement Plan and Learn How to make it Sustainable.

    * A three-month check-in seminar will be scheduled with this cohort and its Retirement Coaches to revisit your work plan and make adjustments as needed.

    About the Presenter: Kim Olson

    After a successful career as a healthcare executive, Kim helps clients contemplating retirement build purposeful retirement plans that reflect how they want to spend this special gift of time! Kim also partners with clients experiencing career transitions to find fulfillment across their careers.

    During her career, Kim was a trusted advisor, a sought-after mentor, and known as a women’s leadership and advancement advocate. She oversaw complex, high-financial risk, C-level initiatives for Fortune 200 healthcare companies.     THURSDAY, April 25th and is limited to 4 participants.

    NOTE: It’s called INTENSIVE because the workshop debrief lasts 4 hours!

    Passport to Taste is the Career Transitions Center's annual fundraiser. Please join us as we celebrate!

    The event will feature enticing small bites paired with wine, and beer. We will offer a silent auction and wine draw.  The event venue offers guests both indoor and outdoor space. 

    We will open our silent auction for online bidding a week in advance. It will feature local experiences and exotic trips, such as South African Safaris, Ziplining, Wine Tastings and more!

    Blanche is the former Program and Coaching Director for Career Transitions Center. Having personally experienced many career transitions, planned and unplanned, Blanche’s passion is to help clients discover how to thrive from their own career transition effort. 

    Blanche earned a BA at Dartmouth College, an MBA at DePaul University and is a Certified iPEC Empowerment Coach and a Certified Resilience Coach through the Heart Math Institute.  Blanche has lived and worked abroad in Spain, Chile, and Brazil teaching Spanish and English. She is also a former CTC client and volunteer career coach.
